This saying of Yitsḥaq’s pleased 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 visited me, saying, your son Yitsḥaq have I seen and his heart is right before me and he is clean and pure, an acceptable sacrifice to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 touched the eyes of my understanding that they were opened and I saw the sons of Elohim gathered in council with the Father and Hĕlĕl, also was among them.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Hĕlĕl, Surely you have been abroad in the earth trying the hearts of men.
Whom have you found standing in his integrity who should be further tried to know whether he be yours or mine?
Hĕlĕl replied, Have you considered Aḇraham and Sarah and Yitsḥaq? For I am unable to lead them into sin in whatever matter I place before them.
They are united in perfect bonds of love and purity and even Aḇraham has united all his family again which was divided.
Surely they should be tried to know whether they are faithful only in their prosperity or whether they will be faithful also in adversity.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said to Hĕlĕl, Were I to say to Aḇraham, Bring up Yitsḥaq your son to the high place and offer him as a burnt offering to me, he would not withhold him from me nor would Yitsḥaq refuse to be offered.
And Hĕlĕl answered 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, Speak now to Aḇraham as you have said and we shall see whether his heart is perfect with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or whether his end shall be in my reign.
